October Marks the End of the First Quarter: Exciting Events and Updates Across Our Schools
As October rolls in, it brings with it the close of the first quarter of the school year — a milestone that reflects the hard work and progress of our students and staff. Report cards will be sent home on October 22nd, giving families a detailed look at their child’s achievements and areas for growth during these first weeks of school.
Elementary schools across the district are gearing up for their much-anticipated Halloween carnivals. These festive events are a wonderful way for students, families, and staff to come together and celebrate the season with fun activities, games, and treats. We encourage parents and community members to reach out to their local schools to see how they can volunteer or contribute to making these carnivals memorable for our young learners.
Meanwhile, high school fall sports teams are entering the final stretch of their regular seasons. Our student-athletes have shown tremendous dedication and spirit throughout their competitions, and many teams are eagerly preparing for the chance to compete in postseason games. We wish all our athletes the best of luck as they aim for success both on and off the field.
October is a month full of excitement and important milestones. We thank our students, families, educators, and community members for their continued support as we work together to make this school year a success.
