Lincoln County and Pahranagat Valley High Schools Celebrate Exciting Homecoming Weeks
The spirit of tradition and school pride was in full swing as Lincoln County High School (LCHS) and Pahranagat Valley High School (PVHS) each hosted vibrant Homecoming celebrations recently, bringing together students, alumni, and the community for memorable weeks of festivities.
Lincoln County High School’s Homecoming: September 29 – October 4
Lincoln County kicked off their homecoming festivities on September 29th with themed dress-up days that had students showing off their creativity and school spirit throughout the week. Highlights included the much-anticipated powder puff flag football game, where the girls took to the field with impressive teamwork and energy, while the boys showcased their skills in a spirited peach fuzz volleyball match.
A special alumni assembly brought the community together to honor former students, featuring class reunions for the classes of 1975 through 1978. This nostalgic event was a meaningful highlight for many, reconnecting generations of LCHS graduates.
Lincoln County Lynx hosted the Green Valley Guardians in Football and Volleyball. The Cross Country Team went to the CSN invitational Saturday and then hurried back for the dance.
The celebrations culminated in a lively bonfire following the alumni assembly.
Class royalty was recognized at the highly anticipated homecoming dance, with activities such as dance offs and karaoke.

Pahranagat Valley High School’s Homecoming: October 6 – 11
Following closely behind, Pahranagat Valley High School held their homecoming from October 6th through the 11th, mirroring many of the exciting traditions seen at LCHS. The week featured themed dress-up days that encouraged students to embrace fun and unity.
PVHS students engaged in their own powder puff flag football and peach fuzz volleyball games, fostering friendly competition and school camaraderie. The pep assembly energized the crowd with spirited cheers and performances, setting the tone for a fantastic week.
PVHS hosted a parade and community bonfire, with each class proudly displaying their themed floats to showcase their creativity and teamwork. The week wrapped up with a homecoming dance and the crowning of class royalty, marking the end of a vibrant and successful celebration.
The Pahranagat Valley Panthers hosted Sandy Valley in Football and Volleyball.

Community and School Spirit Shine Bright
